A day at StayQrious

Understanding what it actually looks like

Stop picturing a traditional class with a teacher talking nonstop. What we have is different. Eight kids show up, pick up where they left off on a real project, work through it together, and get personal time with their coach on what they specifically need. Every day.

The school day

Here's the day, block by block

9:30–10:00

Opening Circle

Each child checks in, and it's not always about the project. Then they share three things: what they worked on yesterday, what's still pending, and what they're committing to today. There's also room for anything outside the project, a question they've been sitting with, or something from home. It not only builds ownership but also makes sure everyone knows what's going on in everyone else's life.

10:00–12:00

Project Work

This is the heart of the day. Two hours of discussing and debating and solving open-ended problems. The coach sets the challenge and the pod works it out together. It runs in focused 20 to 25 minute blocks (Pomodoro, with short breaks woven in), so it never turns into a long, flat slog.

12:00–12:30

Break

A proper 30 minutes away from the screen. Lunch, a snack, a walk, whatever resets them.

12:30–2:30

Deep Work

This is where children start learning to focus on their work. With the project momentum behind them, they put in dedicated deep-work time, building both the concepts that make an idea click and the fluency that makes them quick at it. It never turns into a silent worksheet grind. It stays a fun, interactive class, with the coach moving around, asking questions, checking understanding, and keeping everyone engaged.

Every 2 weeks

1-on-1 with the coach

A dedicated session between coach and child to review progress, work through specific needs, and set personal goals. Usually scheduled between 2:30 and 3:30, after the regular session.

The rhythm of the year

A snapshot of the calendar

Monday to Friday, 9:30–2:30 IST

The learning time is about four hours, and the weekends are fully yours.

No homework

There's enough repetition built into project and deep-work time. We'd rather your child played a sport, read a book, or was pleasantly bored than drowned in an evening of worksheets.

Two 5-day residential offsites

One in summer, one in winter. The point is for your child to bond with their batch and coaches in person and make friendships that last. Usually hosted in Bangalore.

Project kits at your door

Hands-on materials arrive before they're needed, no last-minute scramble for supplies.
